Basics to Writing Great Online Articles

It's my belief that putting time and effort into writing promotional online articles pays off in the long term. The following are the elements that I believe are most important in building long-term online relevancy and web traffic.

Well-Written Articles Pay Off
I do not believe there are short cuts to creating high-quality content, whether for articles or website content. Great articles are only made with the combination of two factors: Knowledge and Effort.

Knowledge & Effort
You must have the Knowledge that makes what you are writing relevant and interesting to your audience. People want to read content from an expert, and the more insider knowledge you have, the more value you can give to your online audience. Simple enough, but knowledge itself is not enough without…

Effort - You must put effort into really thinking about your topic, organizing the content, and crafting the keyword optimization.

An Overview of the Search Engine Battles

With the SEO work I've been doing on websites, I've been staying up-to-date on news about the search engines. I put together some of the most recent things I'd learned about the battle for supremacy between Google, Bing, and Yahoo! into an article for Addme.com, a site dedicated to SEO news and strategies. On Re-reading "The Elements of Style"

The book was written by William Strunk, Jr. in the 1920’s, and revised and updated by E. B. White (of Charlotte’s Web fame). It was called “the little book” by Strunk, and its size is its strength. It adheres to the philosophy of the author: “Vigorous writing is concise.” There is little wasted space, and the grammatical lessons are also lessons in making words count. You will be impressed with how much this book will stick with you; it definitely makes the case for less being more.
